SAAT FOR ALLERGIES & SENSITIVITIES

Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment (SAAT) is used to address many types of allergies and sensitivities, including seasonal allergies such as pollens, grasses, trees and weeds; environmental allergens such as molds and dust mites; foods; animals; and other substances.

​

SAAT uses very small, semi-permanent needles placed in specific points in the outer ear. The needles remain in place for approximately three weeks and are secured with medical glue and adhesives. Patients then return to have the needles removed and to reevaluate their sensitivities.

​

Many patients experience desensitization following one treatment with SAAT. Occasionally, an additional treatment may be recommended.

​

Please note: If you have experienced an anaphylactic reaction to foods, the goal of treatment is not to reintroduce those foods into your diet but rather to minimize or eliminate cross-reactions, reactions to fumes, and other unintended exposures.

ACUPUNCTURE

Clare has been a licensed acupuncturist for over two decades and uses acupuncture as part of an individualized approach to a wide range of health concerns.

​

Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all treatment protocol, acupuncture treatments are selected according to each patient’s presentation and may be used alone or alongside other approaches offered in the clinic.

​

Common reasons patients seek acupuncture include pain, headaches, digestive concerns, stress-related symptoms, sleep difficulties, and other chronic or persistent health concerns.

 

FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE

​

Auricular Medicine is a specialized form of functional medicine that uses the ear both to evaluate the body and as an access point for treatment.

​

Clare uses advanced auricular techniques particularly in patients with complex or difficult-to-resolve health concerns, including autoimmune conditions, chronic symptoms, and cases in which multiple factors may be contributing to how a patient feels.

Treatment is highly individualized and may be used on its own or in conjunction with acupuncture and other approaches.
